Web 2.0 and Social Networking

There are plenty of social networking sites out there (e.g orkut, hi5 etc.) Other than these there are some social bookmarking sites e.g. del.icio.us and sites dedicated to photo sharing e.g. flickr.

Apart from this there are plenty of web 2.0 based startups, some mashups with google maps etc. With plethora of services out there, I was wondering what are your favorites? How much time do you spend daily perusing these sites?

Punctuality ....

Many folks use this medium (blogosphere as many call it) to share their thoughts. Some are even using this to generate some extra revenue (read problogger.net for getting six figure income in dollars .... sikka rayij ul waqt).

But given the fact that I am not such a prolific writer (even though some of my recommendation letters will contradict this statement of mine), I am compelled by the pangs of moral conscience to keep this blog alive.

It is not that hot in Phoenix lately, temperature hovers around 100-105 F threshold with little or no humidity at all. I am certainly looking forward to the winters which are really mild compared to the other states.

Time for me to sign off ... I will try to bore you again with my ramblings very soon .....

My Blogroll .......

Even though, I do not blog frequently but I am an avid 'consumer' of this new information resource. You can view my blogroll (at bloglines.com, I am too lazy to update it here on blogspot) at this link: http://www.bloglines.com/blog/jheera

This is just a random selection of the blogs based on my (current) interests. Do you have any suggestions?
